संस्कृत शब्द का अर्थ

संस्कृत शब्द का अर्थ है- संस्कार की हुई , परिमार्जित शुद्ध वस्तु।संस्कृत शब्द अपने आप मे, शुद्धता और पवित्रता लिए हुए है, अत; संस्कृत भाषा परिमार्जित और शुद्ध भाषा है, यह देवों की भाषा है, सभी भाषाओं की जननी है। अन्य सभी भाषाएँ संस्कृत से ही निकली है।‘संस्कृत’ शब्द से आर्यों की साहित्यिक भाषा का बोध होता है। यह भाषा प्राचीन काल से आर्य पंडितों की बोली थी, और उनके ही द्वारा चिरकाल तक आर्य विद्वानों का परस्पर व्यवहार होता था।आर्य सभ्यता का परिचय देने वाले अधिकांश ग्रन्थ इसी भाषा मे है।

व्याकरण का अर्थ है- किसी वस्तु के टुकड़े टुकड़े करके उसका ठीक स्वरुप दिखाना। यदि देखा जाय तो प्रत्येक भाषा वाक्यों का समूह है। वाक्य कोई बड़े होते है, कोई छोटे ।बड़े वाक्य बहुधा छोटे-छोटे वाक्यों के सुसम्बद्ध समूह होते है।वास्तव में वाक्य ही भाषा का आधार है।वाक्य शब्दों का समुह होता है।प्रत्येक शब्द में कई वर्ण होते है, जिनको अक्षर भी कहते है।
